I am currently a product manager at a dot-com, working in the online display advertising market.
I was a technology consultant with over 13 years of entrepreneurial technology experience and over 11 years in areas of IT strategy, business development, enterprise architecture, program management and delivery, and business process engineering in several industry verticals including government, finance, insurance, automotive, energy, and high tech.
I completed an MBA at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in December 2009 with emphases on strategy and finance. Prior, I served in a leadership position at a Big Four as a manager working within the IT strategy and program management practice, serving a variety of Fortune 50 clients in the automotive, energy, and insurance sectors. Many of my engagements were analyzing business to IT alignment to drive down business risk of IT programs, both technical and process-related.
I was once an entrepreneur, starting up an IT consulting firm that serviced the needs of small to mid-sized businesses in the Metro Detroit area. The venture grew to over $1 million in revenues over three years before I sold it to take an opportunity at a firm looking to start their own project-based business. Over three years, I grew their book of project-related business exponentially.
My IT strategy skills include sourcing analysis, business requirements analysis, risk analysis, project selection, and cost optimization. I am also deeply skilled in program management and hold a Project Management Professional certification. While my skills have most recently moved to the business side of information technology, I remain passionate and skilled in enterprise architecture, software development methodologies, software architecture.
